Genesis and the Gospel of John are written to spark our desire to pursue a deeper relationship with God. In Genesis we realize God created us for love, and we are meant to pursue God's love and become expressions of it to our world. In John, we see the beauty of God radiating in Jesus Christ; when we pursue God's beauty we encounter the person in whom God placed his whole heart on display for the world to see.
